Tullatuulen Caribou is special dog for me. He has little accident as puppy and he showed how tough minded he can be. So we have tight bandage between us. Caribou is one of the key dogs.
You can find Caribou's page via following link.
During the autumn I will present all huskies of the kennel. First to receive the honor is a young male Taiga Quest Elk. I'm particularly fond of his structure, movement and motivation of the work. In the last spring, Luigi ran his first sprint race. This season is much tougher and we will see how boy run in the racing team.
Winter is coming, so the training has started. Early September has been warm, hopefully the weather will start cooling soon. On Saturday morning, we took some pictures of the training team.
Last weekend I went with Pörri (Taiga Quest Bee) to Sweden the Vargevass kennel. Nathan was chosen for male. Nathan has run many long-distance races in the team of Karsten Grönås. Nathan is the main leader of Vargevass team.
Polar Speed Loimu has got a pleasant guest. Henrika Itäniemi's Tullatuulen Anki came to visit to Loimu. Now we hope that these two racing leaders get puppies.

Pia and Juha, the Kolihusky crew, arranged Ruunaa recreational mushing event at Ruunaa Matkailu. The weather was favorable for event. Both days the sun was shining and the morning was cold.
